Story of S0mmers Bay Distillery
Tucked along a stretch of calm Tasmanian coast sits S0mmers Bay — a place best known for two things: flathead and good times. For generations, families have come here with eski lids banging, rods rattling, and cars packed to the roof with weekend hopes. The old shacks dotting the shoreline have seen it all — burnt snags, big laughs, small fish, tall stories, and the kind of sunsets that make you forget what day it is.
S0mmers Bay has always been the sort of place where the water barely ripples, the flathead glide lazily over the sand, and time slows down in that gentle, easy way only a true coastal hideaway can manage.
Our gin carries a hint of the wild coast, a nod to the old shacks, and a wink to every flathead ever caught (or almost caught) off the jetty.
